Title 1 Meeting

Chadron Primary School will hold our annual Title 1 Meeting Thursday, October 13, 2016.  We will meet in the Primary School Library at 5:00p.m.  and we will discuss what Title 1 is, how our funding is spent, and ways to help your children.  We look forward to seeing you there.

New Chadron Primary Logo

The Chadron Primary Family would like to give a HUGE shout out to Jeanne Mohr.  She designed our new Chadron Primary Logo and we are so anxious to use it on so many things throughout our school.  Thanks again Jeanne, your talent is AMAZING and we appreciate how much you still give back to our schools!!

Chadron Fight Song

There is some debate as to the lyrics of the Chadron Fight Song... After a bit of research this is what we have found:

Battle of the BOX TOP$

Chadron Primary School is happy to announce our annual "Battle of the BOX TOP$".  Classrooms compete to see which one can bring in the most boxtops throughout the month of October.  The winning class receives a treat from Mrs. Uhing and our school benefits by turning those boxtops into bucks at the end of the year.  We have been able to purchase playground balls and equipment with the money we receive from this fantastic program.  Please bring your boxtops in bags of 50 or send them with a student you know from the Primary building prior to October 31st.  Do not worry if you miss the deadline, hang on to them as we will have a Spring battle in April.  Thank you again for your tremendous support of this program!

Mrs. Dickerson's Music Class

Mrs. Dickerson's first grade students have been rocking out during music.  After learning about the glockenspiel, the students put on a couple of performances for me, including the Chadron Fight Song.

Creative Dining Donation

Chadron Primary School wants to extend a HUGE thank you to the employees of Creative Dining Services located on the Chadron State College campus!!  Creative Dining employees collected and donated school supplies to Chadron Primary and recently presented those to Mrs. Uhing.  So many of our students will benefit from this AMAZING donation!!  Thank you again for your continued support!

Mrs. Ferguson's Math Action

The first grade students in Mrs. Ferguson's class have been working hard on learning the doubles math facts.  The children have been rapping their way to learning and are doing so well.  It is exciting to see their learning - Keep up the GREAT work!!!
