Back to School Bash!

The Primary Project: A Playground for All committee is hosting a Back to School Bash.  As a fundraiser we will be asking for $1 admission and there will be an opportunity to purchase items and view groups/organizations within our community.

We would like to open this event to any businesses or organizations that would be interested in joining us.  We are hoping this is a time for families to meet one another, see resources our wonderful community has to offer, and enjoy food and a fun event.  If your organization or business would like to participate, please click the link below or reach out to the school so we can include you.  

We ask that if you sign up to participate you bring your own table and supplies necessary and set up will be from 3:00 - 3:30 p.m. with our event time running from 3:30-6:30pm.  We look forward to an evening of fun, food, games, and fellowship (along with some fundraising for a new playground space).

Welcome Back

Hello Primary Families and Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year. We have a few reminders to start the school year and be on the lookout for more correspondence from the school including announcements and a welcome video from Mrs. Mack (Primary School Principal). Please note the following:

~ Incoming Kindergarten students must be fully registered with Tricia Berry (432-0707) prior to the First Day of School including all paperwork and requirements completed. If these are not received before the 13th, your child will not be able to start with us. 

~ Meet and Greet for the Primary School will be on Wednesday, August 12th from 5-6pm

~ The Primary Project: A Playground for All will be hosting a Back to School Bash on August 12th from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. (look for more information if your business or organization would like to join us in welcoming families to our community).

~ First Day of School - Thursday, August 13th

~ The First and Second Days of School 8/13 & 8/14 are both early dismissals with K at 1:20, 1st at 1:25, and 2nd at 1:30

Chadron State College Women's Basketball Camps

Chadron State College Women's Basketball is excited to invite your child to our 2026 Summer Basketball Camps!

Whether your child is just learning the game or looking to improve their skills, our camps provide a fun, positive, and energetic environment led by CSC Women's Basketball coaches and players.

 Kids Camp (Grades K–6)

June 8–11, 2026
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Cost: $100 online registration ($125 walk-up)
June 13, 2026
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Cost: $75 online registration ($100 walk-up)
 Learn from CSC Women's Basketball coaches and players
 Improve basketball fundamentals and game skills
 Meet new friends and teammates
 Experience Chadron State College's campus
 Have fun in a positive and encouraging environment

Our Kids Camp introduces young athletes to the fundamentals of basketball through engaging drills, games, and activities. Campers will also enjoy a campus tour and get a glimpse of what it's like to be an Eagle student-athlete. 

 Middle School Girls Camp (Grades 6–8)

Designed for girls entering grades 6–8, this camp focuses on skill development, competition, teamwork, and confidence-building while learning from collegiate coaches and players. Lunch is included!

Last Days of School Fun!

 The last few days of school at Chadron Primary School were full of fun and entertainment! 🤩 We had our PBIS end of year celebration with three grand prize winners who consistently exhibited the Cardinal Way along with our Tattoo a Teacher event with our four way tie! Despite the drizzly, chilly weather, students and staff had a great time and we want to thank everyone who contributed to our fundraising events and activities!  Have a FABULOUS summer!☀️😎

Reading for Runza Celebrations!

 

These students were busy readers this year and returned their Runza reading calendars each month to receive their free kids Runza meal.  Miss Delaney's class was the winner of the class lunch party provided by Runza.  We want to give a huge shoutout to Runza for partnering with our school and encouraging school students to read throughout the year.

Farewell to Primary Staff Members

 In conclusion, to our Teacher Appreciation Festivities we had to honor teachers and staff, we did not want to forget to recoginize the staff and teachers who will be leaving us. We celebrated them with cake and root beer floats! You all will be so missed and we wish you the best of luck on your new adventures!

Cardinals of the Month ~ April

 

We are winding the year down but not our celebration fun!!  This week we honored our final Cardinals of the Month.  These amazing students enjoyed breakfast with Principal Mack and were able to represent each classroom with pride!  It is so much fun to see our students be role models for one another and follow the Cardinal Way!  Congratulations to all of our Cardinals of the Month; we hope you carry these skills into your summer fun!

Celebrating Teachers!

 Thank you to all of the families and folks who helped our teachers feel so special!  During this week of Teacher Appreciation or as one of our kindergarten students called it "Teacher Anniversary"☺️ we were surrounded by food and so many well wishes.  We are so lucky to live in a supportive community and are so grateful for each and every one of you for helping host our lounge appreciation!

Spring Fling!

 

THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our SPRING FLING a success!!  We had games, food trucks, activities, and great weather to raise funds for our new playground equipment.  A special thank you to everyone who contributed with fundraising and our Bike Raffle Winner was Loni Watson.  Thank you to Bauerkemper's Inc. for donating the Strider bike.  We will continue to have fundraising efforts for our Playground Project so be on the lookout for more opportunities for community gathering and FUN!!

Chadron Primary School staff was treated to a delightful lunch provided by Kingdom Grillers of Chadron.  Maria and Willie had sandwiches and sides to take care of our staff last Friday.  We want to THANK them both at Kingdom Grillers for the wonderful food and such a kind gesture! ❤️

Chadron Primary to Host Spring Fling ~ May 1st

 

We are excited to invite you to our Spring Fling ~ join us for a Primary Playground fundraiser and fun family event!  It is $1 for admission and we have games, booths, and food trucks available for purchase and community time.  ☺️ We are also selling raffle tickets for a Strider Bike donated by Bauerkemper's Inc. You may purchase bike tickets at the Primary School office and the drawing will be held Monday, May 4, 2026.  It is not too late to host your own both or game; you can sign up for a booth on this link:
