End of Year Fun!!

 Thank you to all of our students, families, and staff members who made donations to our PBIS fundraisers throughout the school year.  These funds help to provide celebrations for our students and we have a final Cardinal Coupon drawing to kick off summer! ☀️ We were able to send students home with indoor and outdoor prizes and our final day ended with our Pie in the Face "winners".  We even had some special guests; our Cardinals Committed group was able to send some students over from the high school to help with our last day of school activities.  Again, none of this would be possible without the support of everyone.  What a FABULOUS school year and fun to begin our break!  We also celebrated three students who had Perfect Attendance for the ENTIRE YEAR!! Way to go Gideon, Delaney, and Charlie!

2023 Non-Public Schools Public Notice

On June 6, 2023 at 9:00 AM, a meeting conducted by Chadron Public Schools will take place at Chadron Public Schools Central Office. The purpose of the meeting will be to provide an opportunity for parents who have parentally placed their child in an approved and/or accredited nonpublic school or exempt home school and representatives of nonpublic schools to participate in the development of a plan for providing special education services to children with disabilities who attend an approved and/or accredited nonpublic schools and exempt home schools which are within the Chadron Public Schools district for the 2023-2024 school year. Parents of a home-schooled child or a child attending a nonpublic school who has been or may be identified with a disability and attend an approved and/or accredited nonpublic school within the boundaries of Chadron Public Schools, are urged to attend. Read For Runza Certificates

Congratulations to these students for earning a certificate and a book for returning their Read for Runza calendars every month! The program starts in October and runs through the month of March. Students that return their calendars are given a coupon for a free kids meal compliments of Runza. This is our 2nd year with this program and we want to thank Runza for the support of this program and our school!

Read for Runza Party 🎉

On Monday May 15th, Mrs. Hoffman's 1st Grade class received a Runza Lunch Party! They earned this party by returning the most Read for Runza Calendars during the school year. This is Chadron Primary's 2nd year participating in the program, and the students and staff members really appreciate the collaboration with Runza. The students enjoyed a chicken strip meal and had fun with a party in their classroom! A big thank you to Runza for another successful Read for Runza program!

Game Changer Donates Comic Books and Celebrates Author and Illustrator Dan Connor

 

Game Changer in Chadron will be hosting a comic book signing with Dan Conner on Saturday, May 13, 2023.  Adam Stone from Game Changer wanted to celebrate National Comic Book Day (5/6) by donating a comic book to every student in the Primary School.  Our power outage and early release did not allow for the Primary School to host Dan but Game Changer will offer 10% of all sales on the 13th to the Primary School.  We would like to thank Adam for the opportunity to connect us to Dan who is the writer of Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas: Battle for Pumpkin King (TokyoPop, 2023), the first official prequel to the beloved movie! He is also the author of Shakespeare Illustrated Classics: William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Shakespeare Illustrated Classics: William Shakespeare’s King Lear (ABDO, 2023).  His other work, as a color or cover artist, includes The Nightmare Before Christmas: Zero’s Journey, Pink Panther, The Three Stooges, Casper, Underdog, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Betty and Veronica, and Archie.   We hope you can stop at Game Changer and meet Dan.
