Finale Fun

Chadron Primary School finished the year with many exciting events.  We celebrated our 2nd grade lunch room helpers along with students who returned their Reading for Runza calendars.  We also celebrated our PBIS collection of Cardinal Coupons with our end of year drawings and students raised money for our PBIS program and were able to Silly String Mrs. Mack and welcome our High School Cardinals Committed students on the last day of school.  We also wished some staff members farewell. What a fun ending to a fabulous year.  We hope everyone has a FABULOUS summer!

On Wednesday, May 15th students from Mrs. Hoffman's class enjoyed a yummy lunch from Runza! Mrs. Hoffman's class earned this party by having the most students turn in thier Read for Runza reading calendars every month. We want to give a special shout out to Runza for their colloraboration and support of this program and for their support and genorsity!

These students participated in the Read for Runza reading program and turned in their reading calendars every month. Students were rewarded with a certificate and also a book donated by Runza. Read for Runza stats in October and runs through March. Every student is given a calendar at the beggining of each month. If the student returns it they are given a coupon for a free kids meal. We want to thank Runza for thier contribution to help promote reading and for supporting our students! Great Job kiddos!

Fuel the Kids

On Wednesday, May 8, Chadron United Methodist Church Sunday school students at the primary school presented a check for Fuel the Kids in the amount of $500 to Principal Mrs. Mack.  The check is to the Chadron Public Schools and will be used to help with unpaid lunch accounts. This money comes from offerings made by the children during Sunday school and children's message.  Pictured are: Jesse Oladimeji, Orion Herbert, Mrs. Mack, Ethan Calle, and Knox Smith. Celebrating Our Beloved Miss Chrissy

Our AMAZING "Miss Chrissy" (Chrissy Slingsby) was recently honored as the Outstanding Classified Employee for Chadron Public Schools.  The Chadron Public Schools Foundation selected Miss Chrissy and recognized her at our Honors' Night Program.  We are so fortunate to have Miss Chrissy and this award is one more way to celebrate all that she is to our Primary School Family and the greater Chadron Public Schools district!  Woot Woot!🎉❤️

April ~ Cardinals of the Month

The last Cardinal of the Month breakfast was held this week to honor and celebrate our students in each classroom.  These students were chosen by their classroom teachers as students who set great examples of following the Cardinal Way.  This is also an opportunity for students to share with Mrs. Mack the things they love and the things they would change about school if they were in charge.  We will have our PBIS end of year celebration before school gets out next week to continue recognizing students who have earned Cardinal Coupons through our PBIS program.  Congratulations students and keep up the GREAT work, we are PROUD of you!

Nonpublic School Meeting Announcement

Spark Good Registry

THANK YOU families for already jumping in to register with Walmart.  I am including the steps to follow in order to initiate the registry and it is set to round up on your order so the school can earn savings.  I hope this helps as I also had some confusion with the classroom vs Spark Good Registry:

1. Click on Find Registry

2. Click on Spark Good Registry

3. Click on Local Charities

4. Find a Local Charity by tying in Chadron Public Schools

Thank you again for your support!

Walmart Celebrates our Teachers During Teacher Appreciation Week and Introduces Classroom Registry

Walmart recognized teachers this week with a cake and the launch of Classroom Registry.  Chadron Public Schools already has a registry established for families to search.  Thank you so much to Walmart and all of our Chadron Public Schools families for the continued support year round!
