New Kindergarten Students Registration Information

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION CHECKLIST

2015-2016

You MUST register your child during this time period. July 13-17 and July 20-24

Please provide the following information to the Registrar’s Office (High School Office)

Office Hours 7:30–4:00 P.M.

Summer Hours

Monday-Thursday 7:00-4:00 P.M.

Friday 7:00-12:00 P.M.

   

All registration paperwork MUST be submitted BEFORE your child starts school. If we do not have all the paperwork, your child will not start school on August, 19th.

_____Application for Student Admission/Health Record (Blue form)

_____Birth Certificate: an original, certified copy from the state of birth, raised seal

         (copy will be made for records)

_____Social Security Card:  original (copy will be made for records)

_____Immunization Records: State of NE requirements. Please be sure this includes

          the Kindergarten shots

Shot Clinic is held the 1st Tuesday of the month from 2:00 PM-6:00 P.M.

and the 4th Tuesday of the month from 12:00 PM-4:00 P.M.

The school supply list is in your child’s packet that they are taking home today. Plan on attending our Meet and Greet on Tuesday, August 18th from 6:00-7:00 P.M.   Please bring your child’s school supplies at that time.

     Students from Chadron Primary who were recognized at the end of the year ceremony are:
Cadence Baumeister (Kindergarten); Billy Hy (2nd Grade); Alex Fisher (2nd Grade); and Hina Hinman (1st Grade).  These students were neither absent nor tardy during the 173 days that school was in session.  Congratulations to these students.

Chadron Primary Appreciates Chadron Businesses

Winners of the prizes donated by Chadron Businesses

     Chadron Primary School would like to thank the Chadron businesses who donated prizes for the schoolwide positive behavior support project or ACES (All Children Experience Success).  This is the second year the ACES project has been implemented in each classroom at Chadron Primary but the first year that the project has gone school wide.
     Primary students are given Cardinal coupons by school personnel throughout the year for helping others without being asked.  The coupons go into a classroom jar and names are drawn at the end of each month to determine the students who are recognized as a "Cardinal of the Month."  At the end of the school year, all of the tickets at each grade level are dumped together and students' names are drawn and awarded the prizes donated.

     Chadron businesses who donated prizes for this year's ACES project include:

McDonald's - Dessert Sweet Coupons

Walmart - $50 gift card to use to buy prizes

Donald's - Coupons for soft serve ice cream

     A special thank you also goes out to staff member, Mrs. Staci Larson, for soliciting businesses for the prizes and for facilitating the presentation of the end of the year Cardinal prize winners.
