The Great Inflatable Race

To finish the school year, Chadron Primary School had the Great Inflatable Race which was so much fun!  Students were able to bring in change or donations and choose which of our selected staff members got to wear which inflatable.  Students raised close to $300 all of which goes to our PBIS program and rewards for student success.  This year we had Ms. Kasey, Mrs. Hageman, Mrs. Vander May, and Mr. Fred who were great sports to join in the racing fun!!  Thank you to all of the families and staff members who contributed to this worthwhile cause and have some fun to kick off summer!

Classroom Party Celebrating Read for Runza

Chadron Primary School participated in Read for Runza again this school year. Students who read and return their reading calendars every month are rewarded with a coupon for a free kids meal compliments from Runza. Data is kept throughout the school year and the class who had the most students return their calendars every month then earn a class party at the end of the year.

We want to thank Runza for donating kids meals throughout the school year and for also donating meals for the class party. Thank you Runza for another successful year of Read for Runza!

Teacher and Staff Appreciation

The teachers and staff at Chadron Primary School really felt the love and appreciation from our amazing families and students. The week of May 5-9 teachers and staff were treated by families and students. The Theme of the week was Chadron Primary Teachers and Staff are Tiki-Riffic!

On Monday May 5th the theme was You “Donut” know how much we appreciate YOU!!! Teachers and staff enjoyed donuts, bagels, rolls, yogurt, fruit and juice. On Tuesday May 6th students brought flowers or plants to their teacher or any staff member of their choice. On Wednesday May 7th the theme was Thanks for making our students “Smart Cookies.” Teachers and staff enjoyed cookies and sweet treats brought in again from families. On Thursday May 8th students brought cards or drew pictures for their teachers or staff members expressing their appreciation. Then to end the week on Friday May 9th students gave verbal compliments to their teachers and staff members so they were able to feel the LOVE!! Teachers and staff also enjoyed root beer floats that was courtesy of the climate and courtesy committee at the school.

We want to thank our families for helping make this week successful. We also want to thank the families that contributed to bringing in the breakfast items and sweet treats. We truly are grateful and I know our teachers and staff members felt the love and appreciation from students and families.

Thanks again, with Love

Cardinals of the Month ~ April

We were able to celebrate our final Cardinals of the Month with an awesome breakfast at the beginning of this month.  These cardinals were chosen from their classrooms as student who set incredible examples of following the Cardinal Way.  They are kind, respectful individuals and they were so much fun to honor.  We are so proud of their work this past month and all year long, keep it up Cardinals!
