Mr. Hencey's Art Class visits Chadron Primary

It was a beautiful day for Mr. Hencey's high school art class to visit Chadron Primary School.  The art students were able to sketch some playground equipment and even had a few models posing for sketches as well!  The Primary kiddos were beyond excited to have visitors during recess, thanks for sharing Mr. Hencey!!

Pie in the Face Fundraiser

Mrs. Cogdill's Chicks are Hatching!!!

Every year Mrs. Cogdill brings in eggs and her incubator to teach children about how chicks hatch.  This is a highlight for her classroom; however, all students in the building get the invitation to check in on the excitement.  Mrs. Cogdill will be extremely busy over the next few weeks!  If you look closely at the egg in the center of the pictures, you can watch its progression...🐣🐥

You will find children gathered around the incubator to check out the excitement!

Challenge Days

Wednesday, April 4th Chadron Primary students went up to Chadron State College and enjoyed Challenge Days.  Students in the Health, Physical Education, and Recreation department host our elementary students to a morning of fun with different stations and activities.  It is a wonderful opportunity for the CSC students to get exposure to teaching and our little birds get extra opportunities for fun and physical activity.  A HUGE thank you to Chadron State College for this event, our children have such a GRAND time!!

Cardinals of the Month - March

These students were able to have breakfast in the Teachers' Lounge with Ms. Uhing and as always it was a big treat for our Cardinals of the Month.  These students have gone above and beyond following our Cardinal Rules of 1)Be Safe 2)Be Respectful and 3)Be Responsible.  We are so proud of these students and are so excited to watch them continue being wonderful role models.  Congratulations on the recognition!
