 Chadron Primary School staff was treated to VIP Room Service! ❤️ This special treat was a coordinated effort between our Climate/Courtesy Committee chairperson and some grateful parents!  Our staff was overwhelmed with this act of kindness and we want to thank all of the efforts put into making each one of us feel so special and valued!  Thank you again!

Volunteers: We are still looking for grade level parent volunteers to join our PBIS team.  Our hope is to have one from each grade level.  If you have any parents wanting to get involved, please have them call the office.

Student Lunch Advisory Meetings:  We will host the Lunch Advisory Meetings the last week of each month.  The days will depend on PBiS staff member schedules.

Mrs. Landreth's Class Participates in a Valentine's Day Exchange

 Mrs. Landreth's Kindergarten Class participated in a Valentine's Day Exchange this year.  We sent Valentine cards and a letter to 18 classrooms around the country.  As of today, we have gotten 12 Valentine's back from 10 different states.  With each letter, we compared ways that the kindergarten friends' school is similar to ours and looked at some things that are different about their schools than ours.  We also looked each school up and plotted it on our map.  We hope to continue getting the rest of our Valentine's throughout the month of February.

Chadron Primary School ~ PBIS Monthly Focus for February

Chadron Primary School has a monthly focus for our PBIS support.  This month our monthly focus is "Random Acts of Kindness" and some of our kindergarten friends send Valentine's Day cards to Crestview Care Center.  We hope these notes bring a smile to residents and brighten the days of everyone who see them.

January ~ Cardinals of the Month

 Classroom teachers at Chadron Primary School selected these fabulous students as Cardinals of the Month.  The students were chosen as kiddos who set great examples for other students in behavior choices.  We honor these students with a special breakfast with the principal along with certificates and bracelets.  We appreciate all of the support our families offer to help our students achieve these honors and a HUGE shout out to our students for making good choices and following the Cardinal Way!

Parent Teacher Conferences and Upcoming Dates

 

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, February 10th from 3:00-7:00 pm in the homeroom classrooms.  Your child’s classroom teacher should have reached out to you and shared availability with you.
 
If you cannot come on February 10th, please contact your child’s teacher(s), and they will schedule a conference at a time that you both agree on. 
Students will be dismissed at 1:30 pm on Thursday, February 10th and there will be No Just for Kids (After School Program). 

Don't forget to check out the Unfold the Universe: James Webb Telescope Art Show featuring artwork from all the K-2 students during Parent Teacher Conferences.  Artwork will be hung throughout the primary building so walk around and enjoy. 

There will be No School Friday, February 11th, (K-4) and there is a 1:30 pm dismissal for Middle and High School students
