100th Day of School

On Friday, January 24th students at Chadron Primary School celebrated the 100th day of school.  These students have so much to be proud of in their efforts these past 100 days and classrooms were celebrating in style!  Congratulations on all you have accomplished this year, we look forward to what more is to come!

Perfect Attendance Continues at Chadron Primary School

These students continue to do everything they can to make it to school!  They all received Perfect Attendance Certificates for Quarter 2 at Chadron Primary School.  This group of students has now had perfect attendance for two quarters which has not been easy given all of the sickness that has gone around!  We are so proud of these kiddos for coming to school every day, ready to learn.  A HUGE thank you to each of the families who help support making education a priority as well, we very much appreciate all of your efforts to get your children to school on time every day.  Keep up the GREAT work and we look forward to seeing your smiling faces for our third Quarter.

THANK YOU ~ Daily Grind!

Chadron Primary staff would like to thank the Daily Grind coffee shop for their random act of kindness.  Staff members were treated to coffee drinks delivered to school this week and we thank you SO VERY MUCH for thinking of us.  This act of kindness was much appreciated by all staff members and we hope to pass it forward by doing our own random acts of kindness!

Your Selling Team makes Donation to Chadron Primary School

Your Selling Team recently made a donation to Chadron Primary School to assist with school lunch balances and provide aid to students who would like to receive second helpings on lunch entrees.  Your Selling Team has supported our schools throughout the years and this donation is another example of their dedication to students and our community.  Employees of the business present Ms. Uhing with a check that will help many students and families.  THANK YOU Your Selling Team for your continued commitment to our schools!

Book It Awards ~ December

Students at Chadron Primary School have continued to read their hearts out!!  Students have been setting goals and zipping through pages and were recently awarded prizes for turning in their Book It calendars for December.  Book It is a nation-wide program sponsored by Pizza Hut and students are able to receive personal pan certificates from Pizza Hut.  Chadron Primary School Title 1 teacher Mrs. Ritterbush is adding to this year's fun by adding small Dr. Seuss prizes students can select with completed calendars.  Congratulations to these students for a job well done and keep up the great job with reading!

Cardinal of the Month ~ December

Chadron Primary School celebrated our December Cardinals of the Month.  These students were chosen by their teachers as students who excel in the classroom!  These kiddos have gone above and beyond our three Cardinal Rules of 1)Be Safe, 2)Be Respectful, and 3) Be Responsible.  These children have been great examples for other students and we are so excited to honor them with a breakfast.  We were able to take over the Teachers' Lounge to enjoy our morning and we want to congratulate them all for a job well done!

United Methodist Church Donation to "Fuel Kids"

United Methodist Church and the Sunday School group made a generous donation to Chadron Primary School to "fuel kids".  These Sunday School children and the adult sponsors collected money throughout the year and designated the money to fund students with outstanding lunch balances.  This money is used for students who may need assistance with paying for lunch accounts including money used for second helpings.  The thoughtfulness of these children and their organization is incredible and we thank them so very much for their donation!

Sharing and Caring Event a Success!

Chadron Primary School would like to thank all of the individuals and families that made our Sharing and Caring Food Drive such a success!  We had a great deal of non-perishable food items donated and before Winter Break our students walked the items down to the local food pantry.  We are proud to live in a community that offers such support to our schools and especially events such as this that benefit so many; again, a huge thank you to everyone who made this event so exceptional.
