Cardinals of the Month ~ February

Another morning, another celebration for our Cardinals of the Month!  We are always so happy to congratulate and honor our Cardinals who have done amazing things.  These students were chosen by their classroom teachers as students who have gone above and beyond our Cardinal expectations.  We get to have breakfast sandwiches and donuts once a month to come together and celebrate these kiddos.  We are so proud of their accomplishments and are so grateful they set such wonderful examples for our other Cardinals.

PBIS Focus: "Kindness Starts With You" features CSC Men's Wrestling Team

This month's PBIS goal is "Kindness starts with you." The students are encouraged to show kindness to others in different ways. Mrs. K. Rischlings kindergarten students took on the challenge of showing kindness to those in the community. They made Valentine Monsters and gave them to the Chadron State College Wrestling Team.

Cardinals of the Month ~ January

Once Again, a celebration took place to honor our Cardinals of the Month.  January brought more students who follow the Cardinal Way and who set incredible examples for fellow students.  These cardinals were able to enjoy a special breakfast with Principal Mack and we are so proud of their efforts in the school.  Keep making great decisions that make the world a better place kiddos!

NO SCHOOL ~ Tuesday, February 18, 2025

Chadron Public Schools will not have school Tuesday, February 18. The frigid temperatures and possibility of snow all day was considered in this decision. No school means no activities and buildings closed.

Cardinals of the Month ~ December

Chadron Primary School started the second semester with a FABULOUS Cardinal of the Month breakfast!  These students had breakfast with Mrs. Mack and we enjoyed celebrating all of their great choices.  Classroom teachers chose children for this special breakfast and during the time, students are able to share with Mrs. Mack the things they love about our school and what they would change if they had a magic wand.  😌 We always love to celebrate our students and we are so proud of the choices these young students are making.  Keep up the great example!

Chadron Primary School Happenings

Before Winter Break, Chadron Primary School had a variety of activities and events to keep us busy.  We had our Kindergarten Music Program as well as a visit from our High School Cardinal Singers.  The music of each group helped us usher in the holidays.  We also had the opportunity to attend a Chadron State College Mens' Basketball game which was so exciting!  This team was so fun to watch and these student athletes were part of our high five Fridays at the beginning of the school year.  Not only did they put on an outstanding game, they also greeted students in the stands and the Primary students certainly brought some energy to the Chicoine Center.  Before break we also had visits from Santa, a Gingerbread Man, and Buddy the Elf; they distributed candy canes to the students the day before our break and Santa made another trip back to the Primary School for a special visit to some of our students.  Students were also able to take donations from our Kids Caring and Sharing Drive down to the Immanuel Lutheran Church food pantry.  We also received a generous donation from the Siren Tattoo Company to help with outstanding lunch balances.  The community support and outpouring of generosity is amazing and we want to thank each of the individuals and organizations who helped to make our holiday season so joyous!  Thank you all so much!
